We celebrated Indepen-dence Day with a BBQ at Grandma's house in Bellevue for lunch. Later, we went over to Aunt Shiann's place for dinner and fireworks. The fireworks were loud and we were afraid they might make Sahara cry. I covered her ears with my hands and she watched the lights and colors for a while. But she was asleep by the end of the show.
Sahara loves to look around and see what's going on, so we've started putting her in the forward-facing position in her Baby Bjorn. She seems to like this as long as we keep the scenery moving. Stand still for to long and baby gets bored.
