We took Sahara to the Strawberry Festival on Saturday. The festival itself was a bit of a letdown and the strawberry shortcake was no big whoop. But Sahara loves to be anywhere where there are are lots of kids.
She also loves dogs. In the first two pictures here Sahara is walking back to the car with Amy when she spots two dogs up ahead. She points, then does her fastest 13-month-old speed walk toward the dogs. "Come back here doggy!"
Sahara rode on daddy's back through the festival, then played on the swings for a while. It's nice for her to get out again. She's been sick with croup for about 10 days and is just getting to the point where she's almost better and ready for action.
