Gavin Jon Watts was born this morning at 9:53 PST. He weighed 8 lbs 10 ounces and was 20.5 inches long (didn't see that coming).
His middle name is a compromise between John (paternal grandfather) and Jonathan (maternal grandfather). The delivery went well and mommy and baby are happy and healthy. Gavin looks just like Amy, with dark brown hair and blue/green eyes.
Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins came to visit this afternoon. Sahara, who spent most of the night at Grandma's house, was super excited to see her new brother and wanted to hold him. Here are some pictures...more to come.

Congratulations! I'm so glad he's here and all is well! I love the name Gavin! If Tim had liked it, too, we might have considered that for a middle name for Joseph. Great pictures -- can't wait to see more! :)
