Gavi the Great...big baby

Here are some pics of Gavin. He's been growing like crazy lately--a real spurt. Not that he wasn't big enough before. His first little tooth is finally coming in, after months of threatening. He's maddeningly close to crawling, but hasn't figured how to go forwards. He goes backward and sideways and can get around the room. But he's still working on his forward crawl.
He has tree trunks for legs, pork chop arms and a big Buddha belly. He also has brown hair that curls, especially around the ears. It's a little thinner on the right side, as he tends to sleep on that side more often.
Mommy has gone to great effort to keep him nursing, since he, like his sister, is very alert and interested in what's going on around him at all times--even when he's eating. So we bounce him on our yoga ball and get him drowsy. Once his eyes close mommy takes him to a quiet place and he eats like a champ. He's also into anything else that anybody else is eating. He's not old enough to try everything yet, but he would if allowed. He's no too picky and gobbles down anything we put on his tray.
