Last month we took a two day vacation to Leavenworth, WA, a Bavarian-themed town on the east side of the Cascades. It was the last family hurrah before Sahara started kindergarten and Shane started a new job. We stayed at the Sleeping Lady resort, at the mouth of Icicle Canyon, which was peaceful and very scenic. While in town, Amy suggested we take an old-time western family photo, and Shane thought that was a great idea.
