Sahara at 3 months

Sahara is over 3 months old now! She's happy, healthy and growing like a weed. Here are a few of Sahara's 3 month old milestones:
• She has discovered her hands (finally) and tries relentlessly to get an entire fist into her mouth.
• Although she still spits up on everything (she can smell a clean shirt from a mile away) she's moving more towards drooling these days. She loves to touch our faces with her freshly bedrooled hands.
• We think she weighs between 14 and 15 pounds now.
• She's finally sleeping a little longer. Her record is a 6 hour stretch, but she'll go 4-5 pretty consistently when we put her down at night.
• She's also sleeping in her new crib. Good thing--she was outgrowing her baby papasan fast!
• She's starting to vocalize. She coos, gurgles and makes all kinds of sounds. When we talk back to her and cheer her on, she gets intensely excited . . . and spits up.
• She smiles frequently, especially when you smile at her. She even giggles now and then, but not much yet.
• She loves the musical mobile in her crib and looking at the cute baby in the mirror.
• She loves having her diaper changed! She'll actually stop crying and smile when we lay her down on the changing table and start to work on her. Changing time is also one of her favorite times to vocalize and talk. I theorize that she likes diaper changes so much because she's getting our undivided attention while she's on the table.
• She loves to stand up (with balance assistance). Her Michelin Man legs are super strong and she can stand for stretches of several minutes before succumbing to the ravages of gravity.
