Trick or Treat!

Sahara was a fat little lion for Halloween this year. At least for the dress rehearsal part of it. That was pretty much as far as she went. Sahara and Amy sat it out while the other kids froze their costumed lateral extremities off bringing home the candy.
In other news, Sahara has started to sleep better at night. She goes down around 7:30 every night without a fight. Even if she's awake, when we lay her in her crib, she goes to sleep. OK, she might play with the animals on the crib bumper for a while, but she gets there. Of course, Amy assures me that her daytime naps are not as easy.
We attribute this to her pacifier. It could also be because she's started to eat rice cereal now. We even threw in some veggies last night after two solid weeks of the rice cereal. She seemed indifferent to the flavor change. We finally gave in and started feeding Sahara food because she kept wanting to eat our food. At first she would watch as we ate. Then she started reaching and getting upset when we wouldn't give her a piece of the action. So it was time.
