All Four, New Floor

After countless spit-ups on our living room carpet, we decided to buy an alphabet puzzle mat for Sahara. Besides its retina-scorching color and educational value, it's easy to clean and keeps our house from looking like a pigeon sanctuary and smelling vaguely of sour milk. Amy also found a 75% off sale on Robeez, which we'd been eyeing for a while but never bought because they're an overpriced luxury.
So this evening Sahara had her new Robeez on and wanted to grab them. She was on her stomach and kept rotating around and around on her ample tummy trying to get at her right foot. It was like a puppy chasing its tale. Then she pushed herself up on her hands and and toes, bum high in the air, and looked back at her feet. She finished the performance by pushing herself backwards until she ran into the table and got stuck.
Oh, that whole sleeping all the way through the night thing has not been repeated. But she's trending towards longer stretches, so we'll call it progress.
