We decided to put together a series of the very best pictures from Dallin's entire life. OK, so he's just a week old, but these are some pretty cute pics.
It's been a busy week for Dallin, if you count eating incessantly and pooping during or immediately after each meal. Sleep is an issue. After nursing, Dallin is ready to sleep, but then we have to change his diaper because he's poo'd, which makes him cry and wake up. And when he's up he's hungry, which means he nurses, which means he poos, which means another diaper change and 15 diapers later...there's your night.
Sahara has been such a grown-up little helper since her brother came home. She's very gentle with and protective of Dallin. And he does need protection. Gavin is a man possessed! That boy wants to give his little brother loves so badly--and non-stop. Unfortunately, the Gavster is a big, chunky, in-your-face and very physical guy who will, left to his own devices, literally take his baby brother out. We're going to have to work on channeling Gavin's fondness for Dallin in positive, non-lethal directions.
