Dallin is getting big fast. He's taller than our first two were, which makes him look older than his seven weeks. His colic is easing up and he's turning into what in our experience is a normal baby. When he wakes up, eats and gets a diaper change, he's quite content, cooing, babbling and even smiling. He's a good looking little guy and his temperament is starting to match.

As further proof of Dallin's large size, this week we took him into Seattle to see a pediatric cardiologist because his pediatrician had noticed a faint heart murmer during his one month check-up. We were't too worried (had it happened to Sahara at this age we would have been freaking out) and it turned out to be nothing to worry about. While there they weighed Dallin and he's already over 14 pounds. Because he's so long, he's already outgrown a lot of his clothes and wears mostly 6-9 month onsies and jammies now.
